The Pediatric Surgical program is special for our pediatric patients. Recognized as the leader in community health in South Jersey, the nurses and doctors at will do their best to make your child visits to the center as pleasant as possible.
As a parent you have a very important role to play in your child’s care. Children have natural fears of the unknown, and preparing your child for the operation upcoming events will help relive these anxieties and will greatly improve your child’s experience. Learning about your child’s anesthetic experience beforehand (by discussing with the anesthesiologist and nursing personnel) and honesty are the best ways to explain to your child what to expect.
